This establishment was very professional and polite in all exchanges that we participated in! I emailed this jeweler to ask if they could verify the gemstones in an engagement ring of mine. (Gemvara shut their doors before I could verify the legitimacy of the stones. They also never sent me "appraisal" paperwork verifying the legitimacy of the stones)
Alex Wallace, an appraiser, responded to my email rather promptly and established a date when I could come by with my ring. Since I work long hours my fiance had to go in my stead, to which he graciously accepted! Long story short, he verified my ring did indeed have Tanzanite and Moissanite stones.
Even if my fiance and I never bought a single jewelry piece from this establishment, the fact he took time out of his day to verify such a minor task meant the world to us! I feel at peace knowing my gemstones are not only beautiful, but that they're legitimate. We both are happy we weren't ripped off. We're "young" and this is our first engagement in our lives! So this may not mean much to some, but for us this meant everything. He's happy he got me the real deal, and I'm just happy knowing what they truly are. :)

I'm extremely happy with Merkley Kendrick. I wanted a custom design that would fit around my engagement ring and a unique pattern in the stones. Rebecca worked with me to make it happen. I was able to see a CAD rendering of the ring and a wax form for the ring that helped me be confident about the size and style. I am beyond happy with the service and the availability (I asked a LOT of questions). I fully recommend Merkley Kendrick.

My wedding ring completely split at the base and also needed to solder my bands together so my husband recommended this place. The process was super easy and Colleen helped me out. She pointed out things about my ring that I didn’t even know was going on (diamond loose, bent parts) She was super nice and professional. She quoted what it will probably cost and in the end it was in that ball park. Took about two weeks to fix and I couldn’t be happier with the result. They also cleaned it and looks SO much better!

Matt is awesome to work with. My fiance and I shopped for rings together and Matt helped my dream come to life. I told him what I had in mind and he made it a reality. I went in to talk with Coleen 10 months or so ago about purchasing my first Rolex. She was incredible! Took the time to answer all my questions about the process of getting exactly what I wanted. She took down my info, put the order in and said it could be 2 months or two years. Today, I walked out with my incredible, beautiful new Rolex. Every detail exactly as I wanted it. 10/10 service, will recommend to any and all who will listen.

Merkley Kendrick is the only place I'm going to do business with in the state of Kentucky when it comes to my jewelry. Shannon S. was my sales associate and the customer service I received was fresh and friendly as well as knowledgeable and understanding as to what my needs were and how they could be met. I had taken my ring to Shane and co earlier in the week and they quoted me 700$ to do less work then Merkley. I was only charged $279.00 to get my ring resized as well as maintenance on the tips. I'm sold on this place! Not only did they take care of the maintenance needs I had regarding my ring Shannon assisted me with another gift item I was looking for. I gave her a price range as well as a brief description of what I was trying to to find and then took off. The next day she had already located the perfect gift for my partner! Thanks again Merkley crew! 😁🥳😜

My partner and I got permanent jewelry here and I had no idea it would be such a fun, great experience! The amount of care that went into the placement and the way she attached the bracelet was so perfect and considerate. She was so sweet and great to talk to and made the whole experience even better! Also every person we ended up talking to was so nice! We intend on getting our wedding bands there because of how our experience went with the permanent jewelry.The selection of antique gold wedding rings are amazing too! Can’t wait to go back.

I have never been to anywhere other than Kays, etc. to purchase jewelry. I have a ring, that is very precious to me, that needed repair, a chunk of the band broke out. I have little to no trust for any pawn shop that offers repairs so I decided to try what I consider an actual "jeweler". I am so impressed with the quality of the repair! They even made the band thicker to ensure the repair lasts. Matt was my consultant and he was very helpful and down to earth. I was very nervous as I've never stepped foot in such a bougie establishment, but he absolutely made the process as easy as pie and I felt like I belonged. I have already recommended them to several friends and family! Don't waste your time elsewhere, go straight to Merkley Kendrick, it is absolutely worth the drive to St. Matthew's! Above and beyond quality and customer service!
